“Thanks so much for all your help with the Diploma in Marketing, Cynthia. It was definitely a large part of the reason that I got my current job. I'm really happy and I know that I have you to thank for this.”

Student Accolades
Lisa Etherington
MQC was fortunate enough to scoop a top award from The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2005. The award, which went to Lisa Etherington of Lancaster, was for the Professional Diploma, and was awarded to her for her outstanding grades at this level.
Lisa, who works in Skelmersdale, and who lives in Lancaster, had, for over two years, travelled over 100 miles a week, to attend the MQC centre based at The Old Stone Trough, Kelbrook, Lancashire.
A Brand Manager for Constance Caroll, Lisa originally came to study at MQC, following recommendations from her former work colleagues at Burton’s biscuits, in Blackpool. Totally dedicated to her studies, Lisa worked very hard to achieve this outstanding accolade.
Lisa completed the Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing in December 2006, and is now putting all that she has learnt to very good use in her job at Constance Caroll, where she recently gained a well deserved promotion.
Student Testimonials
“I knew taking the Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing was going to be hard in terms of time and commitment and getting back into the habit of studying – having not done so since 1998.
By enrolling with Cynthia, this gave structure and discipline to learning. She delivers this course in a practical way by focussing on students’ work experiences – and her own – to make learning relevant, whilst at the same time embedding the theoretical concepts necessary to provide sufficient depth to master the exams. Spreading it over the four modules, the way she does, helps reinforce learning at each stage.
Whilst course content and delivery are professional, Cynthia’s teaching style also makes it light-hearted enough to enjoy the process and the learning itself.
This qualification is not for the feint hearted, but with the right approach and your own personal commitment it can be achieved, as I have proved.
In terms of job related training, I deal fairly regularly with different training providers. I would strongly recommend MQC, and in fact just have, to one of my work colleagues, who is now studying for the Diploma in Marketing.”
